SHUX'22 COVID Policy:
The safety and comfort of our attendees is paramount, and it’s important to us to not only follow local guidance for large events, but also to make everyone feel welcome and safe while attending.
For those reasons, we will be enforcing a mask and vaccination requirement for SHUX. Please bring your own mask to SHUX.
In addition to our policy, Canada currently requires foreign visitors to be vaccinated to fly in, and Vancouver has a very high vaccination rate.
We do understand the efficacy rates of the vaccine against current strains is not as high as previous, and that is why masks are important, and we support the province’s mask requirement for large indoor events that was in effect earlier this year, and expected to be mandatory again this Fall. In either case masks will be mandatory for all staff and attendees at SHUX.
If you have health reasons why you were unable to take the vaccine, please email us paperwork to that effect prior to the show so that we have time to evaluate, and potentially issue you an exception, in which case you will also be required to show a negative COVID test at registration, taken on that day or the day prior – COVID tests can be obtained for free at local drug stores.
Local policies are constantly evolving as we come into the Fall season, and we will comply with any and all additional measures required of us for the show come the end of September.
If you disagree with this policy we offer refunds up to 30-days before the show, please email us here.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
