Watch the Skies! is a 70-person megagame where teams of players attempt to survive first contact with a mysterious alien race who have their own, inscrutable motives! Teams of five use diplomacy, deception, military might, and plenty of bravado to influence events on the world stage and advance their own agendas.

To see the game in action, check out Shut Up & Sit Down’s very own video! Don’t worry about being spoiled – our version is different, and each game progresses in unpredictable ways due to the players’ crazy plans.

Q: Can I be on a team with my friends?
A: Of course! We’ll contact everyone to figure out how best to assign teams and roles. Just buy a ticket and leave the rest to us!

Q: I’ve watched the Shut Up & Sit Down megagame video. Won’t Watch the Skies be spoiled?
A: Not at all! Each game has a different initial scenario, new hidden agendas, fresh mechanics, and most importantly of all – different players! Each game progresses in unpredictable ways as a result of our players’ crazy plans. No two games could be the same, even if we tried!

Q: What do I need to bring?
A: You don’t need to bring anything, but many players enjoy dressing for their role. We may even give out bonuses to teams that are particularly well-coordinated. (Shhhh, don’t tell anyone I told you!)

Q: I can’t make any of these games, but I’d love to play one at some point! How can I find out about megagames in my area?
A: If you’re in the Seattle area, follow Seattle MegaGames on Facebook for updates! Otherwise, the MegaGame Society and Megagame Makers pages are great resources for games happening all around the world!
